The Consultancy services we provide cover a range of disciplines which are not instantly related to our transactional business whether it be development, agency, or investment and are not as formal as RICS ‘Red Book’ valuation work.

It is however inevitable in certain instances that where we do provide initial consultancy advice, this does lead to generating succesful results for clients ultimately on disposal, acquisition or developmet of land or property.

This may involve the release of surplus accommodation to third parties by way of a lease, rationalisation of an estate with part released for development or negotiation with an adjacent landowner to allow for expansion.

In addition to consultancy advice related to existing property, we also provide a dedicated service to landowners and developers when negotiating Section 106 Agreements or Affordable housing requirements as part of detailed planning applications for major development sites.

We have particular expertise in this field due to our considerable track record to date and our market knowledge which is derived from our first hand experience of involvement in major transactions.

Although we do not provide a dedicated planning service, we work alongside a variety of professionals whom we have strong relationships in order to provide the best advice.

We can also advise on bespoke pieces of consultancy work on behalf of both existing and new clients.

For example this could be an independent review of a proposed leasehold or freehold acquisition, in order to support clients at key decision making points. This is particularly the case in organisations and corporate occupiers when property is a non core activity, when property related decisions and investments are generally made infrequently.

As part of our consultancy service, we can also advise clients on their options when faced with landlord and tenant issues including rent reviews, lease renewals / surrenders and dilapidation claims.
